1. Scope and who operates this site

This Privacy Policy explains how Krillion Games handles information when you visit Krillion, read a guide, launch an embedded game or video, or submit a player rating. It applies to this website only. Game providers, YouTube, your browser, and your network provider operate under their own notices and controls. We operate the player-review feature using Cloudflare hosting and database services.

Krillion does not provide player accounts, paid subscriptions, purchases, private messaging, or a contact form. You can read the articles without launching a game, playing a video, or posting a review.

2. Information you choose to provide

Player ratings and comments

If you post a review, we store your star rating, review text, optional display name, the game identifier, and the submission date in our database hosted by Cloudflare. The rating, review, display name or the fallback name “Player,” and review date are displayed publicly on the matching game page. The game identifier keeps each review attached to the correct game.

Do not place an email address, real-world address, account credential, private token, precise location, financial information, medical information, or another person’s private information in a public review. A display name is optional.

Email messages

If you copy the address from Contact Us and send an email, your email provider and ours process the address, message, headers, attachments, and ordinary delivery data. We use that message to answer the request, investigate a correction or rights concern, maintain an appropriate record, and protect the site from abuse.

3. Information handled automatically

The static hosting service and supporting network providers may receive ordinary request and security information when a page or asset is delivered. This can include an IP address, approximate network location derived from it, browser and device information, requested path, referring page, response status, and timestamps. Those records are commonly used to deliver content, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and protect service availability.

To limit repeated review submissions and protect the feature from abuse, our application creates a temporary keyed hash from the connection IP address. The review application does not store the raw IP address. The hash is not shown publicly and is used for submission limits, not advertising or tracking visits across websites.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate page use. When analytics loads, Google may receive an IP address, browser and device signals, page address, referrer, timestamps, interaction data, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar browser storage under its own privacy notice.

We do not receive a player’s full browsing profile or sell player information ourselves. We may receive aggregated analytics reports. Browser privacy controls, consent tools required in your region, and content blockers can limit this processing.

4. Embedded games, YouTube videos, and advertising

An embedded game is not created until you select Play Now. At that point your browser contacts the game provider configured for that page. The provider can receive normal connection information and may use its own cookies, local storage, session storage, device signals, or gameplay records. We do not control a provider’s progress storage, availability, age rating, or independent data practices.

Gameplay videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player and do not autoplay. Loading or using that player still connects your browser to Google or YouTube infrastructure, which may process connection, device, playback, and interaction information under its own terms. You may avoid that connection by not loading or interacting with the video page content.

This site does not currently load advertising scripts or display affiliate advertisements. If advertising is introduced later, this policy will be updated to explain the providers and processing involved. Embedded game providers may display their own advertising under their independent privacy notices and controls.

5. Browser storage and cookies

The written pages do not require a first-party account cookie. Analytics, embedded games, and videos may store identifiers, preferences, progress, consent state, frequency controls, or session information in your browser. Your browser may let you inspect, block, or clear that storage. Blocking third-party content or storage can prevent analytics, a game, or a video from working while leaving the written guide available.

Private browsing, storage clearing, device changes, and provider updates can remove game progress. We cannot restore data held only by a third-party game or in your local browser.

6. Why information is used

  • To deliver requested pages, games, videos, and player-rating features.
  • To measure site use and improve the pages and guides available to players.
  • To publish the review you intentionally submit on the matching game page.
  • To answer corrections, accessibility reports, privacy requests, and rights concerns.
  • To secure the site, investigate errors, enforce reasonable use, and limit spam or abusive submissions.
  • To comply with a valid legal obligation or protect users, the site operator, providers, and the public where necessary.

Where law requires consent, we rely on the choice you make before using the relevant optional feature. In other circumstances, processing may be necessary to provide a feature you requested, comply with law, or support legitimate interests such as site security and reliable operation, subject to applicable rights.

7. Service providers, disclosure, and international processing

Information is disclosed only as needed to operate the relevant feature: hosting and network providers deliver the site; Cloudflare hosts our review application and database; game providers deliver games after Play Now; YouTube delivers embedded video; and email providers deliver messages. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with valid legal process, investigate fraud or security threats, protect rights and safety, or support a transfer of the site subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their own terms, locations, and transfer safeguards govern information they control. We choose narrowly scoped services where practical, but we cannot promise that every provider stores data in one jurisdiction.

8. Retention

Public reviews may remain available until they are removed for a valid request, moderation reason, service migration, or operational need. Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, document the outcome, protect legal interests, or meet an applicable obligation. Hosting, email, game, and video providers determine retention for records under their control.

The temporary anti-abuse hashes are kept separately from public reviews. Records more than one hour old are deleted when a later review submission is processed, so they can remain longer during periods without submissions.

Because retention depends on the type of record and provider, this policy does not promise a single deletion date. We apply data-minimization and purpose-limitation principles to information we control.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

You may browse without submitting a review, leave the game player unopened, avoid interacting with videos, use browser privacy controls, clear local storage, or contact us about information under our control. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing.

Send a request through the plain-text address on Contact Us. Identify the relevant page, review display name, approximate submission date, and the action requested. We may ask for limited additional information to verify that the request concerns you. We will not ask for a password or payment to make a privacy request. You may also have the right to complain to the privacy or data-protection authority responsible for your location.

10. Children’s privacy

This independent guide site is intended for a general gaming audience and is not designed to collect personal information from young children. Children should not submit a public review or email personal information without the involvement of a parent or guardian where required. If you believe a child supplied personal information through a feature we control, contact us with enough detail to locate it.

Third-party games and videos may have their own content ratings, age requirements, and parental controls. A parent or guardian should review those terms before allowing a child to use an embedded service.

11. Security, policy changes, and contact

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the site, including restricted framing rules and limited form destinations. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Do not send secrets or sensitive personal information through a public review or ordinary email.

We may update this policy when features, providers, or legal obligations materially change. The revised date appears at the top. Material changes will be described clearly on the policy or relevant feature where appropriate. Privacy questions and requests can be sent using the information on Contact Us.
